Traditional Burial In-Ground plots can accommodate one casket and two additional cremated remains, or three cremated remains.
Post-Burial Expectations
After a casket burial, the ground will sometimes settle quickly during periods of heavy rain or snow. This is normal. Our staff will continually fill and level burial space until it can be grass-seeded during good weather. Please keep in mind that we intentionally leave graves a couple of inches below grade to allow for screened topsoil before seeding.

Oakwood Cemetery offers several thousand sites available for ground burial. In addition, individual crypts and niches are available in the mausoleum.
When you purchase a space, you become a part-owner of Oakwood Cemetery. Each owner receives a property deed and becomes a voting member at the annual meeting of the Oakwood Cemetery Association.
