Upcoming Events:

Friday, October 23 -- The annual Ghost Walk sponsored by the Penfield Local History Room. Tours start at 6:30 and run every 10 minutes until 7:30. This year’s walk will highlight Revolutionary War veterans and their families. Tickets are $8 in advance through PenRec or $10 at the gate (cash only at the gate).

Sunday, October 25th, 2:00 -- Grave markers from the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will be placed at the graves of eight of the American Revolutionary Patriots buried in the cemetery. The Public is welcome to attend. Patriots: ISAAC BEATY, THOMAS BROOKS, SAMUEL LEWIS BROOKS, WM OWEN, ELISHA FULHAM, DANIEL PENFIELD, OTHNIEL PRESTON, and LEBBEUS ROSS. Hosted by the Mary Fellows Penfield Chapter of the NSDAR.

Traditional Burial In-Ground plots can accommodate one casket and two additional cremated remains, or three cremated remains.

The mausoleum has full-size crypts and cremation niches, both of which are easily accessible indoors as well as outdoors.

Our Services

Oakwood Cemetery encourages all families to schedule cremation burials through their local funeral director. A cremation/urn vault is not required.
